While in Las Jardines de la Reina, accommodation is provided on La Tortuga a floating barge-houseboat. Built 4 years ago, it provides 7 cabins, each with an en-suite bathroom; cabins are fully air-conditioned. Accommodation on La Tortuga is available for individuals and groups. Staff on all boats are local residents fully trained and experienced in both diving and running life on the boats to offer you the maximum safe enjoyment of your diving holiday. La Tortuga has a crew of 4 men, plus a professional chef. Dining on board is simple and good. Lots of fresh fish and shellfish, fresh fruit, juices, vegetables and pasta and rice. A full range of beverages are available. Wake to the best smell in the world - Cuban coffee; and unwide from your day as the sun sinks with that most Cuban of drinks - the Mojito. For those who cannot leave the world completely behind, the boat also has good communications with satillite telephones. Getting There: Transfer packages are available from Havana, Cancun and Cayo Coco. Arrangements can be made in conjunction with any of Cuba Beyond the Beaches other packages.
