Join us in the City Of Heroes, Santiago de Cuba for a week of Carnival. Carnival in Santiago de Cuba is an eagerly awaited week of celebration of Cuban culture. Street dances, parades, impromptu performances by Congos, and the three special saints' days, make this one of the most important celebration in the city. This is the 50th year of the Triumph of the Revolution; a year to celebrate the Revolutionary struggle. July 26 2008 is the 55th anniversary of the attack on the Moncada barracks which was the first blow in the 5 years, 5 months and 5 days of the Revolutionary war. To commemorate this special event we are offering two special packages designed to enhance your enjoyment of both the Carnival and the Moncada celebrations. Carnival is Salsa.
